But truly, being open to hear and intentionally listen to something shared, written to uplift or explain or heal, in the world we're all a part of, extending our empathy before judging a style or a beat. It truly is about growing peace."

"What's it about certain songs that let us know everything is fine, like as long as the music or specific song is playing, we have a handle on everything in the given moment. There's not another thing more we need. To me that's an amazing thing. Is it saying I'm ignoring the reality, or whatever stressors or problem I may be facing? No, I don't think so, but rather it's giving me a moment of clarity and strength and even a joy in my ear and heart that may give strength to get through it."
